Background
Steve Weitzenkorn is an organizational psychologist with over twenty years of experience in management consulting, training design and development, and project management. He has extensive experience in strategic human resource development, the "people side" of organizational change, and customer loyalty. Steve has worked with major companies in virtually every industry, including finance, high technology, telecommunications, insurance, manufacturing, hospitality, aerospace, automotive, utilities, and healthcare. He has developed results-oriented training to improve sales effectiveness, customer service/satisfaction and loyalty, leadership, team effectiveness and teamwork, continuous improvement, safety, organizational change, and several other areas.

Experience
Steve is a principal of HROutfitters, a human resources consulting firm. Previously, he was Vice President - Consulting Services Group with Development Dimensions International (DDI), a consulting firm specializing in leadership and service training, assessment and selection services, and facilitation of organizational change. Steve is certified in most DDI training systems. His breadth of experience includes customer satisfaction and loyalty, strategic selling and sales training, leadership development, organizational and culture change, labor-management cooperation, and aligning human resource systems with business strategies. He created an executive-level simulation on the human side of reengineering and was one of the lead facilitators at the PEPI Reengineering Forum.
Steve has consulted with such organizations as Bank One, Citibank, Charles Schwab, Heller Financial, NCR, Motorola, Oracle, Westinghouse, Bally's, Harrah's, Hyatt Hotels, Promus, BP Oil, Amoco, JC Penney, US Steel Mining, A.T. Cross, Dreyer's, Buick Motor Division of GM, Morton, General Dynamics, McDonnell Douglas, W.W. Grainger, Florida Power & Light, several regional US telephone companies, and Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Steve received the William C. Byham Award for Innovation and Excellence in Training Technology in 1993. In 2005, one of his programs won the Henkel Award for Global HR Excellence. Steve has a Ph.D. in Human Learning and Organizational Behavior from the University of Nebraska.
