The best intellectual content is only as good as the facilitation that transfers
that content to others. For that reason, we have diligently strived to provide the highest quality FACILITATOR CERTIFICATION
PROCESS for our clients.
Our work and research have led to a detailed list of competencies and a certification
process that develops these competencies for individuals.
We define a competency according to the extensive work done by The International
Board of Standards for Training, Performance and Instruction (IBSTPI) as a "knowledge, skill, or attitude that enables one
to effectively perform the activities of a given occupation or function to the standards expected in employment." Competencies
are statements of observable behaviors not intangible beliefs, traits, or motivations.
Certification:
Certification is a process that allows one to distinguish between those who have
demonstrated competency in a particular area of expertise and those who have not. The FACILITATOR CERTIFICATION PROCESS provided
